1. Parties & Scope of Services

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to services provided by Fix Showers, located in Auckland, New Zealand.
We provide shower repair, resealing, leak detection and bathroom maintenance services (the “Services”) to residential and commercial clients across the Auckland region.

By accepting a quote or booking our Services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Quotes, Payment & Charges

All quotes issued by us are estimates based on the information provided at the time. Final pricing may vary depending on site conditions, access, extent of damage, materials required, or additional work identified during inspection.

Payment terms will be stated in your quote. Unless specified otherwise, a deposit may be required before work begins. Final payment is due upon completion of the Services and invoice issuance.

If payment is not made by the due date, we reserve the right to withhold further work, delay completion, or charge interest as permitted by law.

3. Client Responsibilities & Site Conditions

The client must provide safe access to the property and any necessary utilities (water, power) required for the work.

Clients must ensure that the shower area is clear and accessible before our arrival and that any fragile or personal items are removed.

We reserve the right to refuse or postpone work if conditions are unsafe or access is not provided. Additional charges may apply for rescheduling or lost time.

4. Scheduling, Delays & Access

We will schedule the Services at a mutually agreed time and make reasonable efforts to adhere to that schedule.

Delays may occur due to availability of parts, site conditions, or other factors beyond our control. We will notify you promptly and arrange an alternative time if required.

If repairs cannot be safely carried out (e.g. due to moisture, structural or plumbing issues), we reserve the right to reschedule or suspend work without liability.

5. Warranty & Limitations of Liability

We warrant that our Services will be carried out with reasonable skill and care, consistent with professional standards in New Zealand.

We exclude liability for indirect, special or consequential loss (including loss of profit, use, or amenity) to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Our maximum liability for direct loss or damage resulting from our negligence is limited to the total amount paid by you for the Services.
